Doctor of Management (D.Man.)

Doctorate-through-Research (DTR) and/or Doctorate-through-Publication/Portfolio (DTP) programmes allows those professionals who have not followed the traditional academic route towards a doctorate degree to nevertheless obtain the highest academic recognition for having undertaken and produced practically-based, innovative research, and independently developed their research and other related analytical problem-solving skills and subject knowledge up to the Doctoral level. This may also include professionals entering higher education in mid-career, especially in practice-based disciplines such as management, education, public health, psychology, business administration, commerce, law, sciences and many more. The Doctor of Management (D.Man.) programme focuses on developing professionals with higher critical thinking skills in the field of management. It is designed to cater to the needs of high-achieving business professionals who wish to advance their career as well as personal growth.

What i will learn?
    1. Set the published work or creative output in the context of existing literature and evaluate the contribution that the research makes to the advancement of the chosen subject or professional area.
    2. Stress the coherence of the publications, linking them to the methodology adopted.
    3. Demonstrate the acquisition and utilisation of appropriate research skills equivalent to those of a traditional Doctorate student who has reached the end of the writing‐up stage.
    4. Include a section relating to the candidate’s research methodology. This is particularly relevant if detail regarding methodology is not included in the publications. Doctorate programme is about rigor of research process as well as the originality of the outcomes.
    5. In cases where the works are jointly authored by the applicant and other persons, the introductory section should also describe the roles played by those joint authors, and contain percentage estimates of the applicant’s input into each jointly authored work.
    6. Be approximately 5,000 words in length, exceptionally, where the complexity or volume of the work requires further analysis a higher word count may be submitted, up to a maximum of 10,000 words.

  • a) For Doctorate-through-Research (DTR) candidates intending to qualify for a Doctorate degree at EIU-Paris should:

    1. Be likely to meet the required standards for a Doctorate degree.
    2. Show evidence of research skills equivalent to those expected of a traditional Doctoral student in the relevant discipline.
    3. Submit a completed application form together with:
      a. statement of intent,
      b. all previous education qualification documents;
      c. one passport size photo (in formal attire);
      d. passport copy (photo page) and/or copy of national ID card,
      e. full C.V. including all research outputs (include evidence of a unifying theme across the publications/outputs and originality).
    4. Receive an Acceptance letter along with the Invoice.
    5. Make the first payment to EIU bank account (the total of 4,999 Euro fee).
    6. Start the programme.

    b) For Doctorate-through-Publication (DTP):

    1. Be likely to meet the required standards for a Doctorate degree.
    2. Show evidence of research skills equivalent to those expected of a traditional Doctoral student in the relevant discipline.
    3. Submit a completed application form together with:
      a. statement of intent,
      b. all previous education qualification documents;
      c. one passport size photo (in formal attire);
      d. passport copy (photo page) and/or copy of national ID card,
      e. full C.V. including all research outputs (include evidence of a unifying theme across the publications/outputs and originality),
      f. brief summary of the relevant publications and/or portfolio materials.
    4. Receive an Acceptance letter along with the Invoice.
